 Mixed cocoa-white chocolate and quinoa cereal with milk.

Sichuan pepper soup with noodles and dumplings and some keema naan @ Little India.

 Sauerkraut soup with pork, barley and sour cream.

 Coffee and a raspberry semla from Maiasmokk. I had another of their semla a bit later.

I love semla. I always anticipate Shrove Tuesday approaching, so I could eat some semla 😀 There just isn’t anything better than a delicious fluffy white bread bun, stuffed with jam and topped with fresh whipped cream. However, I wasn’t always this hyped about the semla pastry. When I was a child, I absolutely hated them xD To me there wasn’t anything more disgusting than white bread with whipped cream xD So, my love for this pastry has been an acquired taste.

First, I started enjoying semla with quark-whip instead of whipped cream, because I was still iffy about the cream version. Then, maybe 7 or 8 years ago I finally came around to whipped cream too and so now I am really looking forward to semla time every year.
