This is a post of interesting things I’ve found online (and sometimes offline). These things may include among others: recipes, fandom stuff, interesting articles or artwork. I tried doing this post weekly, but sometimes I was too busy to surf the web or simply didn’t find anything noteworthy the entire week, so now I will post this whenever I finally have something to share 😛

  • This polymer clay art is super stunning.
  • Also, how adorable are these colourful somen noodles? It turns out I am a complete sucker for gimmicky food items like that.
  • Have you heard of the sickness of shame? It’s a terrible thing… I know 😦
  • Rainworks is a really cool art project where the art shows itself only when it rains. I am super into the idea.
  • So I have finally been sucked into the madness that is “Welcome to Night Vale” and I am enjoying every nonsensical second of it. I made the mistake of looking at their merch the other day and oh boy do I need this hoodie. And the Night Vale Radio Intern pin too 😀
  • I am craving for potato pancakes like these.
  • I want to make these hot dog tacos for a movie night or something. Too bad “junky” food like this is really not allowed for me anymore… however, there are always cheat days 😀
  • Peanut butter and jelly brownies. Yes please!
  • This crochet Slimer costume is probably the coolest thing ever 😀

• This is absolutely amazing. I loved the visuals of the “Blade Runner 2049” a lot, but at no point did I imagine that they were filmed using miniatures! I thought it was all digital. Mindblowing.

• I want this pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and pecans. It sounds so delicious.
• I haven’t made shortbread cookies in ages, so these lemon ones piqued my interest. I wonder if this dough would work with my Avengers cookie cutters. Hmmm…
• Scary shit! D: But oh so good!

• Oh gosh, look how beautiful and colourful this broccoli pesto baked salmon is!
• I need this caramelized banana tart. I mean I really don’t, but I want it anyway.
• These freezing bubbles are so beautiful.

• I am not certain if this is the best way to advertise your ice cream, but it sure is funny xD Well, actually there is absolutely nothing funny about this commercial whatsoever. that’s the funny part.

• Squash and pear sound like an unique and interesting soup ingredient combination.

Exploding Kittens… 21. April 2018

 Fried eggs and broccolini.

 Coffee and a grilled sandwich with ham, cheese and tomato.

Kadi and Kerttu were over and we had some fun by assembling Japanese DIY candy kits. I’m glad I was feeling healthy again, because it would have been such a bummer to cancel the event. After the candy we played Exploding Kittens, a card game, for a while and it was very fun 😀

 This one was a cute one 😀 We pushed some soft candy into molds and made some adorable candy veggies. They tasted good too.

 Foam candies with nonpareils and chocolate sauce. The green one was melon flavoured and the pink one was cherry. These flavours were one of the best ones out of different ones I’ve tried so far with this type of kit.

 Foamy ice cream in a cone. This one was very bad, it tasted like baking soda and cardboard.

 Dinner was mixed rice with enoki mushroom and broccolini miso soup.

 Forest berry juice and a lemon-white chocolate cookie and a pecan cookie that Kerttu provided for dessert.

• • This cucumber juice sounds like a neat and refreshing idea 😀
  • I reeeealy need to move my lazy bum and make these lemon ricotta ravioli.
  • Matcha french toast? Oh yes please!
  • How incredibly adorable are these bunny succulents? 😀 I actually bought a pack of seeds a few months back to try and grow them, but I haven’t planted them yet.
  • A Deadpool musical 😀 Do I need to say more xD
  • An instagram account dedicated to artistically arranged objects. These are fantastic! Makes me want to try and do something like that.
  • This No-knead Dutch Oven Nutty Boule sounds like an interesting thing to try. *notes it down in her ever growing endless “recipes to try” list*
  • I want this avocado chocolate mousse! D:
  • Oh my gassy nebula! That is exactly my cats at 3am in the morning xD I laughed like crazy at the accuracy of this video:
  • Look at these luscious chocolate cherry thumbprint cookies!  So yummy looking.
  • This chocolate fudge bread also looks like a yummy treat.  Why do sweet recipes seem so appealing every time I am trying to loose weight?
  • Now this braided honey bread is simply gorgeous looking.
  • Someone good at cookery, please make me these Japanese souffle pancakes *cry*

I’m back with posting random found crap again 😀 I thought I wouldn’t do it until I got my blog history restored, but that is going super slow and the interesting things I feel like sharing keep piling up. • I started listening to this podcast called The Hilarious World of Depression where comedians talk about their experiences with various mental illnesses. Depression is so ridiculous and not funny that it’s actually sometimes pretty funny. It was an interesting listen and put so many things in perspective for me.
• How about some tea making tips from 1941? 😀
• I need to try and make these Pan Fried Bread Dumplings. They sound delicious!
• Holy cow, wow! Look at these vegetable and fruit carvings by a crazily talented Japanese artist.
• Okay, so, I haven’t read any Spider-Gwen comics, but I know she exists and I really like her, so I want this fabulous action figure of her really badly.
• This Potato Crusted Quiche with Bacon & Caramelized Onions also sounds really good.
• I also would really like to try this soba noodle dish.
• EEEEEEEEEEEEEE how cute is this upcoming book about young Mulder and Scully going camping? I need this in my life!
• Skull shaped fire logs. Do I need to say more? \m/
• Someone accurately created Jake’s Perfect Sandwich in real life 😀
• Also, the fact, that there exists a crying unicorn candle that sheds rainbow coloured tears when it burns, makes me incredibly giddy and wishing I had money to spend on it.
• And as a last piece of visual bliss, I bring you candy melting and unmelting to classical music.
