Custard flavoured Choco Aanpan snacks and more coffee

 Salmon pasta with some salad

 Pelmeni with sour cream

 Oven baked potato slices

23. June

 Coffee, chocolate cake

I baked some bread with black sesame seeds. It turned out fantastic.

Coffee, different crisps, some salad and grilled chicken. Later I had a couple of grilled sausages too.

Strawberries. Sadly, these ones didn’t have much of a taste.

We spent the Midsummer’s Eve at our friend’s place. We had a small bonfire, grilled some meat and just hung out. We got home at a semi-decent hour which was pretty remarkable for Midsummer’s Eve xD

The universe, life and everything… 14-15. June 2017

 Cheese roll

Oshee vitamin water magnesium + B6

 Bread pudding with milk

 Pasta with salmon

Triple chocolate cake 8D So delish!

In the evening, we went to listen to Professor Brian Cox with Indrek and Loviise. It was really fascinating, I learned quite a few interesting things about the beginning of the universe and life itself that I hadn’t even known to be curious about before. It was also a fun show, because a comedian named Robin Ince came and poked fun of Professor Cox and science itself as interludes. After the show, we went home and had cake. Good day.

15. June

A banana and minced meat-egg pastry

 Kinder Pingui caramel

A pancake with bacon and a fried egg + some water kimchi

Baked spaghetti casserole with broccoli and mozzarella

End of the trip… 26-27. May 2017

26. May

Breakfast at the hostel: waffles with peanut butter and Nutella, sausage sandwich, some cheese, a boiled egg and a cup of coffee

 More waffles and some fruit

 Iced lattes

 Chocolate-coffee cake

 Some sandwiches for dinner

Second day in Uppsala. We did more walking around the town and visited The Uppsala University Palaeontology Museum, which was awesome. All these old animal and dinosaur bones and fossils were fascinating… and also really really scary to me xD History frightens me and I get scared in museums, even though I absolutely love visiting those places.

In the evening, we caught another overnight boat back to Estonia. It was a great trip, I loved it a lot. Sweden is a beautiful country and I am absolutely in love with their nature and landscape.

 Also, Loki helped me unpack

25. May

 Cocoa pudding

A couple of sandwiches with cheese and sausage

 Chocolate croissant

Hamburgers and sweet potato fries @ Bastard Burgers

 Plopp and coffee

 Persian food @ Kadbano

Nomnom. Sadly, I have no idea what most of this was as I didn’t order it myself and I couldn’t read the menu anyway. It was delicious though!

Baked tomatoes, chicken and other meats on a stick

Rice with butter and some sauces. The salad was sadly very bitter 😦

 Cake and ice cream

We took Loviise to her horse clinic near Uppsala and then proceeded to just hang out in Uppsala with my boyfriend. We went to Ikea where we bought a bunch of unnecessary stuff with a few useful exceptions xD Then we just walked around the city centre for a long while and visited Museum Gustavianum where they had a lot of ancient Egyptian artefacts on display. I had never seen a real mummy before… it was so cool and it also freaked me out a lot. I mean, one day you die, you get buried and then thousands of years later you end up as a museum exhibit. How fucked up is that? I felt weird taking a photo, because it used to be a real person once, so I didn’t.

Anyway, I had a great time walking around and in the late evening we had dinner at a Persian restaurant together with Loviise and her clinic people. It’s odd to me that horse training sessions are called clinics xD

Fish harbour, water park and a day with shopping and games… 29-30. April 2017

29. April

A banana and a cup of coffee

 Oatmeal porridge with chia seeds

 Omelette with buckwheat

More coffee and a cinnamon roll

 Chicken spring rolls @ Spice

Beef and spinach curry with rice and some salad

Cheesecake with blueberries from Killuke Kooki that was delicious

We had planned to go hiking with Ly, Loviise and the rest of the bunch, but the weather was dreadful, so we decided to go to a water park instead. Before that, however, we took a quick detour to a fishing harbour to check out an event held there. Sadly, it was super windy, so we only took a quick look around and then escaped to the water park.

 Windy and cold

The water park was fun, I even dared to slide down some rides. At first I went together with my boyfriend, using floaty boats meant for two people, but later I went down alone. Unfortunately, on one such occasion, my floaty thingy flipped over at the end of the ride and I hit my head hard against the tunnel. After that it was enough water park for me, so I just sat in a bubble bath for the rest of the stay.

After the water park, we had dinner together and then ate cake at our place to celebrate my own, Loviise’s and Ly’s birthdays that all were in April.

30. April

A banana and oatmeal porridge with butter and honey

 A pear

 Ham and mushroom pizza

Rice with tuna, cabbage and eggs + some salad

 Realist ginger-peppermint lemonade

Japanese snacks: Big Katsu, squid snacks and Yakiniku-san. None of them were particularly good.

I went shopping in a second-hand store with Loviise and got myself a new pair of trousers, a scarf and a blouse. In the evening, I had a raid night with the guild, which was great fun as always. Lately, I’ve hardly had any time to play at all due to my suddenly busy schedule.

Coconutty…1. April 2017

 Buckwheat porridge with butter

Jeriska’s Chips with tomato and basil flavour. Yummy stuff.

Spinach pasta with nuts and seeds

I tried making this Coconut Bread Pudding. It’s not a type of bread pudding I am used to, as the kind we make in Estonia is made using white bread, usually has some sort of jam in it and is generally served in a bowl of milk. However, puff pastry, nuts and coconut sounded simply delicious, so I gave it a try. I would call the final product a coconut cake though :p

 It was super delicious 😀
