DIY Japanese candy kit fun… 18. January 2018

Greek yoghurt with apple-lingonberry jam, puffed millet, quinoa cereal and banana.

A sourdough chicken sandwich from RØST.

Coffee and cakes that Kadi brought. There was a Bounty cake, a raspberry-lemon meringue roll and a black currant zefir cake.

Our plan for the day was to make some Japanese DIY candy kits that had piled up on my shelf 😛

The first one was Super Mario gummy candy maker.

 Gummies solidifying.

The kit came with a background where you could set a scene before you ate the candy :p Sadly the gummies were not very tasty.

Next up was slime jelly xD I was quite excited about this one, because sliiiiiiiime!

This is how we mixed it.

The slime had a really cool texture and it was fun to mix and stretch xD Sadly again the flavour of it wasn’t to my taste.

Then there was the digging chocolate.

The idea behind this one was to dig out gummy candy treasure from the chocolate dirt :p The taste of these was fine I think, but nothing exciting.

 Fishing out gummy candy kit.

This was hilarious the way it worked, but again it didn’t really taste good xD

 Candied apple kit.

These were cute and absolutely delicious 😀

Bean-zucchini stew over glass noodles with some corn crackers.

Popping candy… 10. January 2018

Raspberry malt wheats cereal with milk.

Yozora no Hoshi – Stars of the Night Sky candies. They were an adorable sweet and sugary treat to have with a cup of coffee.

 Apple jam-chocolate pastry.

Baked potatoes, baked fish, salad and corn crackers with roast tomato hummus.

Coffee and a popping candy covered doughnut.

Baking and cooking… 17. February 2017

Pasta with liver sauce and salad

Anpanman Korokoro Booru Choco aka chocolate balls with a crunchy cookie filling

Corn crackers with liver paté and avocado; and a cup of coffee

 Lemony zucchini soup with rice

 Raspberry-banana bread and some tea

I cancelled gym, because I was feeling down and my legs hurt. Took a bath instead and did some baking and cooking after that. Felt so much better.

Eat all the semlas… 16. February 2017

A cherry jam semla and a cup of coffee

Fried up the leftover French fry and wiener pizza. The pizza was huge, I couldn’t finish it in the restaurant yesterday.

Corn crackers with avocado, beef ham and tomatoes. I also made a cup of instant wakame miso, but it tasted off, so I didn’t drink it.

Pasta with liver sauce and salad

Date night… 14. February 2017

 Chocolate pudding and coffee

Celery risotto and some of corn crackers with avocado and beef ham

 Some boiled pelmeni

Shared dinner with boyfriend: salmon-avocado rice bowl, ramen with shrimp, tuna maki and salmon nigiri. Food from Tokumaru.

Some cakes boyfriend brought home for dessert. Not sure what the roll cake was exactly, but the other ones are rum cakes. Boyfriend ate most of them 😛

I went out for a stroll during the day during which I took the recyclable trash to the collection point and bought myself a new lip piercing, since I lost my old one some time ago. I think the piercing I got is a bit too big however, I somehow remembered the size wrong, so I might have to switch it for a smaller one if it starts giving me trouble.

In the evening we ordered in some Japanese food and started watching the 4th season of “Sherlock”. It was a good lazy Valentine’s date at home.
