I went and walked around the Uue Maailma Street Festival with Kerttu. This year the festival was on a considerably bigger area than usual which was kind of nice as it wasn’t as crowded. There were so many awesome artisans and artists taking part of the event and it hurt that I had a limited budget to spend. At some point, I called Indrek to complain about my distress: “Help, I want to buy things!” Some lady almost choked on her cake laughing at my exclamation xD
I didn’t snap many photos this year, as I got some annoying work messages and frankly I was in a bad mood after that, so I put away my camera. This is the crappy part of being constantly online and connected to everything. But whatever, we got a lot of lovely food and it was great none the less.
Kerttu got me a unicorn shaped macaron. It was cute and delicious 😀
A little girl was selling these cute chocolate cookie sticks, so I got us two. They were yummy.
Nettle soup with sour cream. This hit the spot as it was kind of chilly and started to rain.
A profiterole that was filled with huge amounts of divine pastry cream. It was so lush and tasty that I immediately regretted not buying more of these.
More churros for dinner and a huge cup of coffee.
When I got home from the festival, I took a long nap and in the evening my mom called and invited us to come and check out the temporary apartment where they live while their house is being renovated.
Sorrel soup with sour cream that my mom made. My mom’s cooking is still the best.

More umbrellas and cute street art
Churros being made
These living statues were amazing
