Sauerkraut soup with pork and barley with a ham sandwich.

A black currant jam semla from Killuke Kooki. So supernova delicious!

Blueberry cake also from Killuke Kooki. Was yummy as well.

I had my first day at my new job… uh, have I even mentioned that I am changing jobs? I don’t remember xD Anyway, I am between changing jobs right now. I was so nervous and stressed out, so I didn’t sleep well for the past few nights and had many horrible dreams (mostly how I messed up at the new place and they fired me on the spot). In my worried and tired state, I forgot my work clothes at home… neatly packed and ready to go by the door. How lame is that??? Thankfully boyfriend was sweet enough to bring them to me.

Anyway, my first day went well. The place wasn’t open to public yet, so I just helped with organising things and washing new equipment. Easy-peasy.

Noms in Stavanger day 3… 1. December 2017

Some traditional Norwegian treat- lefse flatbread with butter and cinnamon. It was really nice. Also, had some porridge with nuts and berries in dark chocolate.

A green smoothie and a ham sandwich

Wanted by Diplom-Is Billybob “Butternutter” Pecan- cream ice cream with caramel sauce and caramelized pecans. It was yummy.

We made Japanese style curry with fried sausage xD Like all Estonians, the curry was served with some sour cream :p We also drank some Kriek de Ranke.

Packing… 28. November 2017

Goop. Literally. I just fried up a bunch of leftovers, I think these included egg curry and white bread among other stuff. Also had a sandwich with ham and avocado.

Revive Vit-Hit, tea drink. It was okay.

Pelmeni in broth with some sour cream.

November… 26-27. January 2017

26. January

Sandwiches with ham and tomato + a cup of coffee

Fried sausages, some salted cucumber, salad with avocado, and yuzu miso soup with sesame seeds

27. January

A couple of boiled sausages, some salted cucumber, and avocado sandwiches

Apple juice, French fries with tomato dip @ Estonian Burger Factory

This enormous burger was called “väike Myy” (Little Myy) xD And I ordered it just because of the name, since I have been somewhat on a big Moomins kick lately :p It was HUGE and delicious!

A few years ago, me and my boyfriend, supported a movie project on Hooandja (Estonian kickstarter) and now the movie is finally done. It’s called “November” and it’s based on a book “Rehepapp ehk November” by Andrus Kivirähk. As a supporter benefit, we got to go and see the movie premiere for free. Now the movie was good for an Estonian movie (about 95% of Estonian movies tend to look and feel like bad stage plays), but it wasn’t really what I initially hoped the movie would be. I still enjoyed it, however I wish there had been more folk-magic and black humor involved, like in the book, instead of long shots of nature where nothing happened. I guess they decided to go in more of the “deep and artsy” direction than magic and dark folklore. I mean, there was still some of the folklore and humor in it, but only a small portion of it. Oh well. The kratt’s, to whose development we gave money for, looked pretty awesome tho 😀
