24. September

An apple and some coffee.

Vegetable pasta.

Potato chips.

Quinoa salad, vegetable pasta and some tomatoes.

25. September

Grilled sandwich with tuna and cheese.

Pumpkin soup with pumpkin seeds; warm potato salad with champignons and blue cheese.

Spicy and sour quinoa and tomato soup.

Some rambutans. These tasted fresh and interesting.

26. September

Chocolates with a strawberry gummy filling. Tasty snack!

Niçoise salad.

Sourdough bread with garlic butter and tomato.

Brown sugar Marubouru soft cookie from Saga prefecture, melon cookie from Kumamoto, Kurobo Meimon from Fukuoka prefecture and Romance Sandwich sugar cookie from Nagasaki prefecture. All of these were really nice snacks. I especially enjoyed the melon cookie and the kurobo snack. I suppose the sugary cookie was the most boring one, even though it wasn’t bad at all either.

27. September

Mushroom soup with sour cream and pumpkin seeds.

Banana-chocolate cake.

Mushroom soup and grilled sandwich with tuna and cheese.

Coffee, strawberry cookie and a Kinder Surprise chocolate egg.

Tuna pie.

Coffee, tuna pie and some salad.

29. September

Niçoise salad and grilled sandwich with tuna and cheese.

Mead.

Potato-minced meat casserole and some salad.

30. September

Coffee, porridge with banana, chia seeds and sunflower seeds.


I baked mayonnaise cookies. Turned out great! To my husband these were an old nostalgic taste, to me this was completely new.

3. September

Porridge with strawberry jam.

Handmade chocolates that I got from the Uue Maailma street festival. One was apple-cinnamon and the other coconut. I didn’t fancy the apple-cinnamon very much. The coconut one was good, albeit a bit dry.

Smoked chicken-konnyaku noodle wok with veggies.

4. September

Vegetable soup and rye bread with butter.

Rice with smoked chicken, vegetables and sour cream. Also had some pickles.

A slice of almond flour banana-chocolate cake.

5. September

A marzipan roll and coffee.

Salmon pasta.

Rye bread with butter and salmon pasta mixed with leftover rice from last night.

Ruby cocoa Kit Kat I shared with husband.

6. September

Different roasted beans. A nice snack.

Pumpkin soup with sour cream and pumpkin seeds.

A cheese roll.

White tea with raspberry, apple and lemon.

Spicy and sour soup with quinoa, mushrooms and sour cream. Also had two more cheese rolls.

Coffee, kabosu shortbread cookie and white chocolate-puffed rice-grape snack I shared with hubby. The kabosu, which is a type of citrus fruit, cookie was yummy, but the grape snack tasted horrible to me, so hubby ate it all. I really do not enjoy the red grape flavour in snacks.

7. September

Green pea-cauliflower soup with seeds.

A smoothie bowl made from a banana, kiwi fruit, spinach and coconut milk. Topped with more banana, some pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.


Sour and spicy soup with quinoa, mushrooms and sour cream. Also had a cheese pastry and some onion-turmeric bread.

8. September – a literature street festival

Coffee and a coconut-banana pastry.

Goat milk chocolate ice cream.

Fish and chips.

Flatbread with edamame hummus and wasabi sprouts; couscous salad.

Plum gummies.

I spent most of the day with Kadi at a literature festival in Kadriorg. It was a super good time and I got some nice books. We also went to a gourmet market at a nearby grocery store where I got the sprouts and edamame hummus. A day well spent.

9. September

Leftover couscous salad and a couple of fried eggs.

Ham and boletus pasta and some soup.

Some figs in chocolate and a half of this Kinder Bueno chocolate.

Oatmeal porridge with seeds and strawberries.

Coffee and beef jerky.

Ice cream.

Pasta with mushrooms and spinach.

Milk, strawberry jam with white bread.

3. July

Pasta with mushrooms and spinach.

Brown rice with eggplant-tomato sauce and some tomatoes.

Quinoa with smoked chicken and veggies.

4. July

Tuna salad.

Couscous, carrot cutlets with some carrots and tomatoes.

Coffee and a couple of black currant-chocolate pastries.

Fish pastry.

Sour and spicy quinoa-mushroom soup.

Beer and crispy pork rinds.

Potato chips.

5. July

Sour and spicy quinoa-mushroom soup.

Carrot-orange juice and black currant-chocolate pastries.

Avocado salad with a poached egg.

Dark cherry ice cream.

Hubby made dinner: fried rice with beef and green peas.

Cheese-wasabi cookies.

Shared some snacks with hubby: dark chocolate cookie (this was yummy), Matcha cream cookie (this was okay), red bean paste cookie (this was good too), cream cheese and chocolate cookie (which was delicious too).

6. July

Coffee and a cinnamon bun.

Tuna pie and some salad.

Coffee and peach-quark cake.

Iced mocha.

Cheese roll.

Fried rice with beef and green peas.

7. July

Coffee, wrap with ham, bacon and potatoes.

Raspberry-beetroot-black currant smoothie.

Patsa Bolognese.

Vegan chocolate cake that was dry and not very good.

Some strawberries.

Mini Tosca cakes.

Grilled meat, boiled potatoes, some salad and bread.

A bit of grilled corn. Didn’t eat much, because it was dry and not very good.

8. July

Porridge and coffee.

Coffee, some chocolates and sticky citrus candy.

Alcohol free beer, grilled salmon with fries and salad.

More fries with ketchup.

Gummy-bears and coffee.

A family lunch… 31. March 2018

 Coffee and some apple.

We had lunch with my closest relatives, because they wanted to congratulate us on our marriage. Since I didn’t feel like cooking, I ordered a buffet from Tervise Catering and it was lovely:

 Potato gratin, vegetable wok, slow cooked beef in red wine sauce, salmon in creamy lime sauce. The beef was super tender and delicious and I was really fond of the gratin too.

 Duck sandwich bites, potato salad, fresh salad with strawberries and seeds, chocolate mousse with berries. Everything was so good!

It was the first time I used a catering service myself and I must admit it is very convenient. I didn’t have to worry about anything else other than settling the menu. A very lovely young man delivered the food, set it up and after we were done, he returned to clean it all up. No stressing in the kitchen, no washing up! I’m a fan.

 Hot and sour soup with Chinese cabbage, minced meat, quinoa and sour cream. Also had some meat pastries my grandmother brought us.

Caramelised bananas… 1. March 2018

 Porridge with caramelised bananas, a cheese roll and some coffee.

 Calbee pea crisps. These were super yummy.

 A carrot cutlet, brown rice and some salad.

 Hot and sour quinoa and mushroom soup and a cheese pastry.

 Some overly sweet caramel ice cream.

I had breakfast with my co-workers in the morning. That was really nice 😀
In the evening I was so tired though that I missed my tram stop and had to walk home quite a long way xD
