1. April

Coffee, some chocolates.

Potato latkes with spinach and a poached egg. Also, half a bagel with salmon and half with beef.

Shakshuka.

2. April – Flying to Catalonia

Coffee and a banana.

Instant noodles.

Strawberry smoothie.

Chicken pasta.

Hot cocoa on the plane.

Ice cream, water and potato chips.

3. April

Coffee, pa amb tomata (toast with tomato and garlic), omelette, some ham and a fig yoghurt.

Coffee and some pastry.

Plain yoghurt and some apple.

Nuts in dark chocolate as a mid-hike snack.

Couscous with meatballs in tomato sauce + some salad and bread.

Apple cake.

4. April

Coffee, yoghurt with honey, grains and nuts; pa amb tomata (toast with tomato and garlic), fried eggs and bacon.

Double chocolate Questbar.

Pasta carbonara and salad.

Some chicken.

Strawberries with sugar.

Dulce de leche ice cream.

5. April

Coffee, yoghurt with honey, grains and nuts; omelette and toast with chocolate spread.

A sports drink, a banana and some yōkan.

Asparagus soup.

Paella with rabbit, pork and sausages.

Pineapple cake.

6. April – flying back home

Coffee, orange juice, yoghurt with honey, grains and seeds; fried egg, some sausage and toast with chocolate spread.

Crappy airport food: a shitty tuna sandwich and even shittier pasta. Fucking expensive too.

Coffee, gummy bears, chicken nuggets and fries.

Gross. But I was in a bad mood.

Naked burger and salad.

7. April

Tuna salad and overcooked broccolini.

Greek yoghurt with passion fruit and seeds.

Quinoa with chicken, pesto, arugula, sprouts and seeds.

Some grapes.

A warm potato salad with champignons.

Pelmeni with sour cream.

An apple.

A cheese roll and some soup.

An iced mocha.

Sushi for dinner from Sushi Plaza.

Matcha cake and coffee.

20. September

Toast with salmon and poached eggs + a caffé latte.

Bread with butter.

Buckwheat, beef cutlets and salad.

Raspberry dessert.

21. September

Lemon-cookie quark.

Vegetable soup and tuna pie.

Some chocolates.

Fresh orange-apple-carrot juice.

A cheese pastry.

Beef tongue and sorrel soup with sour cream and a slice of bread.

22. September

Coffee, grilled cheese sandwich with ham. Also had a banana.

Plum ice cream shake.

Hot cocoa and pelmeni with sour cream.

23. September

Coffee, oatmeal porridge with strawberry jam.

Three doughnuts I shared with Kadi.

French fries, fried chicken and beer @ Naganana.

Fish soup.

Quinoa-tuna salad. I tried the cappuccino drink, but didn’t like it, so hubby drank it.

Tiny Kit Kat bites. The hazelnut and salted caramel ones were the best. The double cocoa one was a bit too intense.

Back to Tallinn… 7. April 2018

 Coffee, fried potatoes and a fried egg with some pickled cucumber.

 Potato wafers and hot cocoa.

 Chocolates.

 Couscous salad with garlic sprouts and flatbread with sausage.

Vacation over. We drove back to Tallinn and I spent most of evening taking an online food hygiene course for work. Most of the information in the course was self-evident, but there were some interesting new bits as well when it came to different bacterial infections. For instance I learned that salmonella can also spread via spices and especially with black pepper. I used to think that salmonella was always bound to eggs and chicken meat, but I guess not. At the end I had to take an exam, did quite alright in it and got my certification that certifies that I know to wash my hands :p

 Corn flakes with milk.

 Coffee and an apple.

 Red curry with beef and some rice from Konteiner. Too sweet, not good at all. Ate maybe a quarter of it?

 Mushroom and tofu pho. This was meh, but at least it didn’t taste bad per se. Ate maybe half of it.

 Hot cocoa.

 Arepas with pulled pork and black beans. First time eating arepas, they were super delicious!

 A cocktail called El Tico that was super delicious.

 Churros! With dulce de leche!

 After work beer: non-alcoholic Kas Te Olete Täna Õhtul Vaba? for boyfriend and Sour Park for me.

So, we had a Latin American event at work and I had almost a 16h shift… or maybe it was longer even, idk, I mean we did go to Koht for a couple of beers afterwards xD I was so tired and overwhelmed most of the time, but hey, I got to try something new and it was amazing! And I am always thrilled when I get churros.

27. October

 Coffee, very liquid oatmeal porridge and some kefir bread with butter an dgooseberry jam.

 Hot cocoa, a couple of kefir bread sandwiches with butter, tomato and black pepper. Also had a kohuke with cranberry jam filling.

 Spicy and sour soup with zucchini, carrots, rice noodles, a couple of boiled eggs and some wasabi-sesame spice. Also had a couple of kefir bread sandwiches with butter and tomato-garlic filled ham.

 Another kohuke with cranberry jam filling and a cup of coffee.

28. October

 Pasta with beef stroganoff and some cheese.

 Pumpkin and celery risotto.
