11. June – Deadpool

Milk chocolate marshmallow with crunchy cashew; Cold kefir soup with beetroot.

Mashed potatoes with wild garlic and some salad.

Frozen yoghurt with chocolates and berries.

More mashed potatoes with wild garlic and some salad.

We went to see “Deadpool 2” in the evening. It was brilliantly funny!

Berry smoothie with raw buckwheat.

Mushroom cutlet, fried white fish and some salad.

Chocolate ice cream.

Wild garlic risotto and salad with sprouts.

Some kombucha, fresh orange-carrot juice and some watermelon.

Veggie stuffed zucchini with beetroot hummus in tomato sauce. Also some salad.

Quark pastry.

Coffee, rye bread with butter and beef ham.

Fried veggie burgers and couscous salad.

Went for a long walk with Maarja on the Tallinn seaside and in the evening I went to our local clay studio with miss K. Fun times galore!

Kombucha… 6. March 2018

 Mulk’s porridge (mashed potatoes with pearl barley) and some cottage cheese salad.

 Some water, kombucha and a quark pastry.

 Pelmeni soup with sour cream.

A co-worker is brewing different kombucha and water kefir drinks at work and we are all welcome to drink them as we please. I find it so cool! I am really into kombucha, but I am not too sure about water kefir yet as it slightly tastes like the liquid that forms on top of sour milk…

Sunday at work… 28. January 2018

 Omelette and some salad.

 A pancake stuffed with mushrooms.

 Everyburger hamburger shaped cookies 😀 These were super cute and tasty.

 Peruvian potato salad (mashed potatoes, chicken, red onion, avocado, aioli, lime, herbs) from La Tabla. Shared this with my boyfriend. It was edible, but I wasn’t a big fan of it.

 Ajiaco Colombiano (pulled chicken, 3 different potatoes, corn-nut broth, corn on the cob, fresh herbs, sour cream). Shared it again with boyfriend. The soup was better than the salad, but nothing too special still. Altogether I felt kind of meh and unsatisfied with my take-away dinner.

Yule… 24. December 2017

 Rye cereal with milk and a cup of coffee.

 More coffee and a strawberry flavoured Pukupuku-tai monaka.

 Avocado, spinach and mint smoothie.

 Black Wych porter. Didn’t like it very much, was too bitter for me. Too bad, because the bottle design is really cool.

 Yule dinner: mashed potatoes, steak, blood sausages and some salad.

My Yule was very quiet this year. Boyfriend was out on his enduro bike most of the day. I puttered around the apartment and then took a long nap. In the evening we had dinner and… went to sleep early xD

 Baked an apple-chocolate cake at work and had a slice.

 A banana-persimmon-nettle smoothie, a quark pastry and a couple of slices of sourdough bread.

 Meatballs with mashed potatoes, some white sauce and salad.

 Spaghetti with tofu-mushroom sauce.

Tired and making mistakes… 12. November 2017

 A cheese pastry. I had two of these.

 Mashed potatoes with some boiled wieners and salad.

 A pancake with bacon, some sour cream and salad.

I’ve been really tired lately and it has slowly come to the point where I started making mistakes. I messed up with the card payments, so a customer paid around 80 euros instead of 8… and I forgot to finish the register shift in the evening. My first big mistakes since I started working there 😦 Fortunately no one was very angry with me, hopefully we can settle it with the customer, whom I overcharged, and I hope I will manage better in the future and not make any more mistakes like that.
