Greek yoghurt with different nuts, seeds and a spoonful of honey.

A rice bowl with salmon tempura from Yui Sushi Burrito. They sent me a free beer! How cool is that? I didn’t actually drink it yet, because I had work the next day, but I was so touched!

12. March – The Voices

Mashed potatoes with beef stroganoff.

We had friends over for dinner and a movie. We had snacks and stuff to wrap in tortilla breads.

Greek yoghurt with a nectarine, a spoonful of honey and some chia seeds.

Breaded chicken fillet with some couscous, cream sauce and salad.

Pomelo and hazelnuts.

I kind of flipped out at work and ended up eating more breaded chicken and about 4 pastries. Shit happens when I forget to take my meds for a couple of days…

Greek yoghurt with blueberries and honey.

Some orange and a dark chocolate-pistachio nut bar.

Pork, baked potatoes, coleslaw salad and some rucola.

An “affogato…” I was expecting a tiny treat, but instead got a giant cup of ice cream and coffee. Oh well.

Dinner with Marit: banana lassi, chicken dosa with green peas and different sauces @ Banana Leaf. So delicious!

A falooda – a cold dessert with ice cream, chia seeds, vermicelli and milk. A very cool looking dessert and super tasty! I had a hilarious time slurping the noodles through the wide straw xD

14. February

Coffee and toasted hazelnut rye bread.

Some mango and almond-cranberry kit-kat.

Coffee, nettle rye bread with butter and avocado, oat bran porridge with apple jam and some dragon fruit. First time trying dragon fruit. It didn’t have much of a flavour, but it sure looked pretty.

Soolane ja Krõbe Karu Krõps. Cute looking chips, but not much of an impressive flavour on them. Was worth a try, but that was it.

Black garlic. Too sweet for my likes.

Whoopsie! Holidays happened and I cut my finger and needed to get stitches and then I had some rough times at work, so this is why I fell behind with posting again. Welp, time to catch up 😀

14. December

Coffee, marzipan pastry.

Chicken curry.

Chicken curry and a coconut yoghurt drink. The drink was great and had actual pieces of coconut in it which was cool.

15. December – Escape Room

Chicken nugget wrap. Coffee.

Fried squid with dip at Noya. We crashed this restaurant after going to a Leonardo DaVinci inspired escape room. Most dishes we had were shared among all of us.

Mediocre beef tartar and super yummy salmon tartar with avocado.

Hubby ate a waguy “burger”. It was alright. Good beef served with lame bread.

I really liked the tempura mushrooms and white fish. The soup was a Nordic style “ramen” where noodles were replaced with strips of squid. The ramen concept was cool, but I only ate a few bites, because the entire thing was inedible salty. Both I and another girl sent these dishes back 😦

The kitchen sent us some tasty yellowtail tataki as an apology. That was a sweet gesture of them.

My replacement dish for the ramen was Nordic shrimp “tacos.” They were okay I guess, but I would in no way call these tacos xD

In general, Noya left me feeling a bit meh… there were some tasty treats and some failures, but in the end, I felt it was too pricey, especially considering that I was still kind of hungry after sharing all the food (as the restaurant concept suggested). Not worth all the hype I have been hearing about this place, sadly.

Puchitto Soda candies. An amusing treat. (I bought a computer pad 😀 Had to show it off, because I am so happy with my newfound ability to now comfortably read fanfiction in bed 😀 )

Chocolate minimelts ice cream. I have been wanting to try these ice cream pearls for a while now. It’s a funny gimmick for sure xD They were however so cold that they tended to stick to my mouth uncomfortably. The taste was fine though.

Shared some snacks with hubby: Osatsu crisps (from Tokyo), Sakusaku Panda Halloween cookies (from Okayama prefecture), white chocolate raisin sandwich cookie (from Saitama prefecture), apple butter financier (from Tokyo) and Halloween Poteco pumpkin gratin sncaks (from Saitama prefecture). The Osatsu crisps were meh, so hubby ate most. Panda cookies were cute and yummy. Did not like the raisin cookie. The pumpkin gratin snacks were good and the apple butter cake/cookie was super delicious.
