I am going to change the format of my food project a bit… 9-10. June 2018

I have had a bit of a blogging crisis AGAIN lately as you have perhaps noticed. I like my food photo project, but it annoys me that I can’t seem to keep up the daily posting. For a while I considered just abandoning the project altogether, but then decided against it. Instead I will try to make weekly posts and see how that will work. Then perhaps I will find motivation to blog about other things as well, because right now I have always lost interest in doing anything else after I have managed to complete my daily food post.

So, I will catch up with my posts and from then on, I will do my food posts on Mondays.

9. June – Sweeney Todd

We drove to Southern Estonia for the weekend. First, we stopped by at Ly and Raul’s place to celebrate Raul’s birthday. There was loads of food xD In the evening we went to Tartu and saw “Sweeney Todd- Fleet Streeti Põrgulik Pardur” at Vanemuise Teater which was fantastic! The lighting and costumes were fabulous and I wholeheartedly enjoyed every minute of the performance.

There was coffee, a cheese pastry and an almond pastry.

One of these strawberry pastries.

Grilled pork and some salad.

Sweet cherries and strawberries.

Salmon pizza.

Black currant cake.

Coffee and Mrs. Lovette’s meat pie XD

10. June

We hung out in Karula for most of the day where Indrek helped Loviise build some horse jumping obstacles and I helped her to film one of her horses. In the evening we drove back to Tallinn.

Coffee, fried eggs and some tomatoes.

Super delicious homemade beef burger that Agu served us. So yum!

Some vanilla ice cream.

Fall damage… 1. April 2018

Coffee and some meat pastries from my grandmother. I have somehow managed to chip my cauldron mug 😦 So sad.

Leftovers from the buffet: potato gratin, slow cooked beef in wine sauce and some salad.

Leftover chocolate mousse. Doesn’t look so good anymore, but it was still delicious xD

Kaki no tane in milk chocolate. These were so yummy!

I didn’t see many interesting jokes or pranks around the interwebs other than an ice cream company announcing their brand new healthy cauliflower-broccoli ice cream XD Another one was my mmorpg enabling fall damage, that has been gone from the game for years now, for a day. I was beyond giddy about it and had a fun time jumping off several cliffs xD It also presented several funny occasions while playing, because people kept forgetting that they could die by jumping off higher places xD Good fun was had.

A family lunch… 31. March 2018

 Coffee and some apple.

We had lunch with my closest relatives, because they wanted to congratulate us on our marriage. Since I didn’t feel like cooking, I ordered a buffet from Tervise Catering and it was lovely:

Potato gratin, vegetable wok, slow cooked beef in red wine sauce, salmon in creamy lime sauce. The beef was super tender and delicious and I was really fond of the gratin too.

Duck sandwich bites, potato salad, fresh salad with strawberries and seeds, chocolate mousse with berries. Everything was so good!

It was the first time I used a catering service myself and I must admit it is very convenient. I didn’t have to worry about anything else other than settling the menu. A very lovely young man delivered the food, set it up and after we were done, he returned to clean it all up. No stressing in the kitchen, no washing up! I’m a fan.

Hot and sour soup with Chinese cabbage, minced meat, quinoa and sour cream. Also had some meat pastries my grandmother brought us.

Hanging with friends… 10. March 2018

Chickpea curry with sour cream, nettle rye bread with butter and ham, a cheese roll and a cup of coffee.

A vanilla kohuke and coconut chocolate.

Minced meat pastries and cheese rolls at Kadi’s place.

Grapes, juice, beer, rye bread crisps, tiny Tosca cakes…

Chinese chop suey and fried bread from Kathmandu Hill

I had a hot and sour chicken soup, boyfriend had a chicken wonton soup.

Another year over… 31. December 2017

 Milk and chocolate Kinder Pingui.

A cheese roll and a minced meat-rice pastry.

A hearty serving of solyanka soup with sour cream.

Take-out from Vapiano for dinner: boyfriend had a pasta with beef and rucola, I had a pasta with avocado and cherry tomatoes. We also got some risotto with shrimp and falafel with hummus, but most of these were left for the next day xD

Knights Malvern Gold Cider. This was quite lovely.

I spent most of the day at work. Since I was super lazy, we got take-out instead of cooking a proper year end meal. And then I went to sleep, because I felt exhausted… I did wake up a bit after midnight when the fireworks ruckus started, but I didn’t care much for it and fell back asleep xD

If anything, I hope I can continue this – I don’t give a fuck – mood throughout 2018 xD

Paramparamparam… 18-19. June 2017

18. June

Minced meat pastry, spinach pastry and coffee

 Sandwiches with avocado and ham

19. June

Pretzels in chocolate, cheese pastry and coffee

 Strawberry-fruit sorbet

Burrito with cold smoked salmon and avocado

Just work… 16-17. June 2017

My current crappy work schedule is keeping me from updating my blog daily, so I update it whenever I am off work and feel awake enough to do so for now. Hopefully my schedule will return to normality soon. I’m getting really tired xD

16. June

 A banana and some coffee

 Cucumber-pear kefir with some cereal

A wrap with tuna and avocado

 Strawberry smoothie popsicle

Fish and chips from Päästke Willy

17. June

 A cheese roll

A raspberry- and a cranberry kohuke

 Pancake with banana and honey

 Minced meat pastry

A wrap with salmon and avocado

I eat too many pastries lately. I really should cut back, but it’s difficult when they are smelling so good right next to me ugh.

The universe, life and everything… 14-15. June 2017

14. June

 Pistachio macarons and coffee

 Cheese roll

Oshee vitamin water magnesium + B6

 Bread pudding with milk

 Pasta with salmon

Triple chocolate cake 8D So delish!

In the evening, we went to listen to Professor Brian Cox with Indrek and Loviise. It was really fascinating, I learned quite a few interesting things about the beginning of the universe and life itself that I hadn’t even known to be curious about before. It was also a fun show, because a comedian named Robin Ince came and poked fun of Professor Cox and science itself as interludes. After the show, we went home and had cake. Good day.

15. June

A banana and minced meat-egg pastry

 Kinder Pingui caramel

A pancake with bacon and a fried egg + some water kimchi

Baked spaghetti casserole with broccoli and mozzarella
