3. September

Porridge with strawberry jam.

Handmade chocolates that I got from the Uue Maailma street festival. One was apple-cinnamon and the other coconut. I didn’t fancy the apple-cinnamon very much. The coconut one was good, albeit a bit dry.

Smoked chicken-konnyaku noodle wok with veggies.

4. September

Vegetable soup and rye bread with butter.

Rice with smoked chicken, vegetables and sour cream. Also had some pickles.

A slice of almond flour banana-chocolate cake.

5. September

A marzipan roll and coffee.

Salmon pasta.

Rye bread with butter and salmon pasta mixed with leftover rice from last night.

Ruby cocoa Kit Kat I shared with husband.

6. September

Different roasted beans. A nice snack.

Pumpkin soup with sour cream and pumpkin seeds.

A cheese roll.

White tea with raspberry, apple and lemon.

Spicy and sour soup with quinoa, mushrooms and sour cream. Also had two more cheese rolls.

Coffee, kabosu shortbread cookie and white chocolate-puffed rice-grape snack I shared with hubby. The kabosu, which is a type of citrus fruit, cookie was yummy, but the grape snack tasted horrible to me, so hubby ate it all. I really do not enjoy the red grape flavour in snacks.

7. September

Green pea-cauliflower soup with seeds.

A smoothie bowl made from a banana, kiwi fruit, spinach and coconut milk. Topped with more banana, some pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.


Sour and spicy soup with quinoa, mushrooms and sour cream. Also had a cheese pastry and some onion-turmeric bread.

8. September – a literature street festival

Coffee and a coconut-banana pastry.

Goat milk chocolate ice cream.

Fish and chips.

Flatbread with edamame hummus and wasabi sprouts; couscous salad.

Plum gummies.

I spent most of the day with Kadi at a literature festival in Kadriorg. It was a super good time and I got some nice books. We also went to a gourmet market at a nearby grocery store where I got the sprouts and edamame hummus. A day well spent.

9. September

Leftover couscous salad and a couple of fried eggs.

Ham and boletus pasta and some soup.

Some figs in chocolate and a half of this Kinder Bueno chocolate.

Chili con carne with rice and sour cream.

Coffee and stroopwafels.

28. August

Mixed grain porridge with turmeric, chia seeds and strawberry jam.

Lunch with Josie @ Toit’s: carrot bread club sandwich with fries.

Coffee and some chocolates.

Fried chicken-mushroom gyoza and salad.

Tymbark white grape aloe vera drink. It was meh.

29. August

Mashed potatoes with barley and cottage cheese salad.

Coffee and some candies.

I had the same mashed potatoes for dinner, but forgot to take a pic.

30. August

Orange juice, coffee and nettle bread.

A salad with avocado and a poached egg.

Chocolate ice cream.

Super Mario Cola and Ramune soda flavoured gummies.

I am missing the dinner photo again 😦 I don’t remember what I had.

31. August

More meat bread with butter :p It was a bread kind of day.

In the morning I went to the Uue-Maailma street festival with Kerttu and Kadi. It was super fun and I spent so much money on food and awesome goodies 😀

Vegan doughnuts with chocolate-caramel sauce and cookie bits. The doughnuts were tiny and crunchy. Not bad at all, but I have had better.

Churros!

Roasted coconut ice cream.

A potato spiral 😀 It was Kadi’s, but I got a taste.

Finger food at Josie’s birthday party. To be fair, I have no idea what most of this was 😀 Um, a chocolate cookie, potato chips, salad on a lettuce, erm cheese? rye bread with hummus, something with shrimp. I give up xD It was all delicious though. And no, the blue dude was not edible.

Rice Krispies cereal with milk.


Coffee and apple yōkan in the cutest package I have ever seen.

The inner condom-like packaging didn’t look very appetizing however xD Thankfully the sweet treat was still yummy, despite the wtf moment I experienced with the rubber casing.

Couscous salad with avocado and garlic sprouts.

Jeriska’s Chips, jellied beef and horseradish flavour. These were really good actually!

Creamy pasta with wild garlic and rye bread with butter.

Japanese style beef curry with rice and chicken katsu.

Plum cheesecake.

Blue cheese, potatoes and mushrooms baked into an oven omelette.

25. August

Puffed rice and sushi-burritos from Yui.

At La Muu: I had a scoop of charcoal white chocolate ice cream and a scoop of bacon-maple syrup ice cream. Both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the crunchy caramelised bacon bits in the ice cream. The other ice cream was my boyfriends, don’t remember what he had.

13. August – meeting up with Anna

Two ham sandwiches.

Cocktails and beer @ NOK NOK with Anna. My cocktail was called Foxtail and it consisted of whisky, pumpkin, carrot, pineapple and ginger. It was delicious.

Laab Gai (spicy chicken salad with mint, roasted rice powder and red onion) and I had a few bites of Anna’s Som Tom Thai (raw papaia salad with shrimp, peanuts and tamarind sauce).

Soymilk pudding with fruit salad. The food was simply delicious and the service exemplary 😀

Oven omelette with mushrooms, tomato and eggplant + some cucumber salad.

14. August – playing with glass

Leftover oven omelette with mushrooms, tomato and eggplant.

Some candy. I went to a glass workshop with Kadi which was super fun. It was cool to learn how to cut glass etc.

Hazelnut ice cream. Kadi had a cherry popsicle.

Seafood risotto and some salad.

15. August

Beetroot soup with sunflower seeds and a cheese pastry.

Rye bread with garlic butter.

Oven omelette, rye bread with butter and some salad.

Shared with hubby: orange cake (that was yummy) and a lemon flavoured twice-baked slice of baguette (which was also tasty).

More shared goodies: a delicious crunchy senbei and some rich orange biscuits that tasted okay.

16. August

A cheese pastry.

Some delicious rye bread.

A pastry with red currant jam.

Magnum double peanut butter chocolate.

Baked potatoes and chicken with some cucumber.

Shared snacks with hubby: Strawberry Pukupukutai (cute and yummy!), soybean rice crackers (I loved the crackers, wasn’t a fan of the included peanuts), honey castella cake (this was weird and moist, but tasty I guess), chocolate-banana cookie (that was okay).

17. August – meeting up with Eva

Tuna-cottage cheese pie and some salad.

Hazelnut pastry, cheese roll and some coffee.

Dinner with Eva @ NOK NOK. Started with some cocktails. Mine was called Golden Emerald and it consisted of rum, lime, green apple, cucumber and matcha. It was super tasty and refreshing.

We shared a Som Tom Thai (raw papaia salad with shrimp, peanuts and tamarind sauce) and Gae Tod Prik Thai Dum (crispy fried lamb with black pepper sauce). The rice was complimentary with the dishes.

Then I had Tom Yum Goong (spicy prawn and mushroom soup) that was super spicy and great.

18. August

Instant noodles with sour cream.

Sour and spicy soup with quinoa and mushrooms.

19. August

A beef burger. The burger itself was good but was ruined by the bbq sauce they added as it overwhelmed all tastes.

A mixed dish of pad thai and tom yum soup xD It was spicy and delicious.

In the evening I watched “Iron Man 2” with Kadi and Miss K. We had doughnuts and strawberry kissel as the movie themed foods this time 😛

Also, Kadi made everyone Iron Man candy jars! OMG SO CUTE!

10. July – Iron Man

Oatmeal porridge with chia seeds, roasted sunflowers seeds and some strawberries. Also had some coffee.

An iced mocha treat after another doctor appointment.

I made cheeseburgers and fries for our movie night. We watched Iron Man (2008) with Kadi and Miss K, so the food was thematic 😀

11. July

Moring coffee. I am trying to learn how to draw a wheat/rye ear like pattern on the coffee to suit the bakery.

14. July

Cucumber sprite. Nice cucumber flavour and very refreshing, but a tad bit too sweet.

15. July – Hulk

Pelmeni.

Super Mario wheat in chocolate.

Kadi brought me this gummy candy.

We watched “The Incredible Hulk” (2008) with Kadi and Miss K and had a “green” themed dinner: Couscous salad, kiwi-spinach smoothie, pistachio halva, broccoli snacks, tortilla chips with guacamole and Kadi made a green marzipan Hulk :p

Marzipan Hulk has a big “zucchini” :p

We also made green chocolates and had pistachio ice cream. The movie was kind of meh, but the dinner was superb xD

Chicken karaage and udon noodles with nattou. It was my first ever time to try nattou and I thought it was alright. I think I would like it more with rice though rather than in a noodle soup. Honestly, I expected to hate it from all the stories I have heard of these fermented soy beans :p I didn’t mind the slimy texture at all and the taste was alright.

Lay’s mozzarella and pesto potato chips. These were yummy and they indeed had a cool taste effect xD That was so weird.

Some fresh orange-carrot juice, more of the cheese pastry and “tom kha” soup 🙂 Technically this was a carrot-tomato soup with coconut milk, so calling it a Thai soup would be wrong, but eh xD

Alcohol free beer and some strawberries.
