 Cheese roll

Oshee vitamin water magnesium + B6

 Bread pudding with milk

 Pasta with salmon

Triple chocolate cake 8D So delish!

In the evening, we went to listen to Professor Brian Cox with Indrek and Loviise. It was really fascinating, I learned quite a few interesting things about the beginning of the universe and life itself that I hadn’t even known to be curious about before. It was also a fun show, because a comedian named Robin Ince came and poked fun of Professor Cox and science itself as interludes. After the show, we went home and had cake. Good day.

15. June

A banana and minced meat-egg pastry

 Kinder Pingui caramel

12. June

 Pelmeni with sour cream

 Coffee and a potato-bacon pastry

 Sweet cherries

 Spaghetti with minced meat sauce

I went second-hand shopping with a girl from work. We also got some stuff for work, so it was a semi-business outing I guess xD

13. June

Coffee and milk chocolate coated hazelnuts

 Magus Mull apple-lemon lemonade

Sweet potato fries, boiled eggs, fried bacon, some water kimchi

 Rhubarb cake

 Pasta with bacon and mushrooms

 Cheese roll (I ate 3 of those :s )

It was a funny story with the rhubarb cake. Some people came to the café and asked if they could eat their own cake there if they bought drinks from me. Apparently, a grandfather had come to visit his grandkids from Saaremaa and had brought them the cake from grandmother. Now I know it’s generally considered a no-no to go to a food establishment with your own food, but first of all, how could I deny people a chance to eat their grandmother’s cake in a comfy setting? And secondly, I could have either turned them away and sold less coffee that day or let them eat their cake and sell more coffee. I think the latter was only logical. Also, I got a slice of cake too and wow, that was some delicious rhubarb cake indeed. Good work, grandmother from Saaremaa.

Sun stroke… 19. May 2017

A persimmon and rhubarb-oats-spinach yoghurt. The persimmon was surprising, because it had seeds in it. Usually the ones we get in Estonia, never have any seeds. The yoghurt was a good rhubarb yoghurt, but it was disappointing as well, because again, I didn’t find any spinach in it.

 A very gooey cherry pastry

Wild garlic pesto pasta @ Koloniaal

 Limoncello ice cream

Vegetable soup with garlic and mushrooms

Milk chocolate with honey roasted almonds and some coffee

Well, it was the first truly warm, even hot, day. I am not fond of weather too warm, because as usual, my hands and feet swelled up. I felt awful going home from work, feeling too hot, my head started to ache, hands and feet swollen, I was sweaty all over and it was annoying to walk, because my sweaty thighs were rubbing together and hurt. I think it took me around 30 minutes to get home with a stop to the grocery store. I was feeling so sick, head hurt like crazy, so I decided to pop some painkillers and to take a nap… I did so only to wake up an hour later all covered in cold sweat and shivering. I’m sure it was a sun stroke and that it happened because I didn’t wear a hat. The only hat I had with me was a very thick winter hat and I really didn’t want to wear that in the scorching heat. Anyway, I think I’ve had enough of summer for this year, thanks.

“maximum effort”… 17-18. May 2017

17. May

 Cocoa pudding

 Cocoa flavoured candies

 Pasta with chicken and mushrooms

 Pancake with mushrooms and bacon

Movie night foods: rice with beef, fruit roll-ups, cumin crackers, veggies with crappy hummus dip, some white wine etc.

I was at work during the day and in the evening, we had a movie night with Miss K and Mall. We watched “Deadpool” which was still awesome as ever 😀

18. May

Coffee, sandwiches with sõir, ham and cucumber

 Chocolate ice cream

Mulk’s porridge (mashed potatoes with pearl barley) with some salad

 Fritz-limo apple-cherry-elderberry lemonade

I spent most of the day sleeping 😀 I tend to sleep most of my days off away 😀 In the late afternoon, I took out the recyclable trash to the collection site, went and picked up a gift candy box from a sweets store, came back home, made dinner and did all the dishes. I’d say it was actually a quite productive day. For my standards at least 😀

Bags under my eyes are here to stay… 15-16. May 2017

15. May

 A banana

 Peanut butter energy bar

 Pelmeni with sour cream

 Spaghetti with tuna-veggie sauce

I went and picked up my new ID-card at the police office. I hoped that the bags under my eyes would be less visible on the light photo on the ID, but they are quite very much there. I guess I just should somehow try to accept that the bags are there to stay. You can’t fight your genes I suppose.

16. May

A couple of bananas and a cup of coffee

 Bacon-onion pastry

Four grain porridge with berries @ Koloniaal

Roasted eggplant soup and some coriander bread @ Koloniaal

 Strawberry-rhubarb juice

Whipped quark with strawberries and chocolate syrup

 A cherry-apple pastry

Lamb stew with a potato and some carrot @ Koloniaal

I worked all day and basically went to sleep as soon as I got home xD
