Coffee and a banana-strawberry-spinach smoothie which sucked, because there was no spinach in it 😦
Bacon and mushroom pasta @ Koloniaal
Sweet potato burrito @ Koloniaal
Chanterelle-eggplant pizza on potato crust
A banana and a cup of coffee
Oatmeal porridge with chia seeds
Omelette with buckwheat
More coffee and a cinnamon roll
Chicken spring rolls @ Spice
Beef and spinach curry with rice and some salad
Cheesecake with blueberries from Killuke Kooki that was delicious
We had planned to go hiking with Ly, Loviise and the rest of the bunch, but the weather was dreadful, so we decided to go to a water park instead. Before that, however, we took a quick detour to a fishing harbour to check out an event held there. Sadly, it was super windy, so we only took a quick look around and then escaped to the water park.
Windy and cold
The water park was fun, I even dared to slide down some rides. At first I went together with my boyfriend, using floaty boats meant for two people, but later I went down alone. Unfortunately, on one such occasion, my floaty thingy flipped over at the end of the ride and I hit my head hard against the tunnel. After that it was enough water park for me, so I just sat in a bubble bath for the rest of the stay.
After the water park, we had dinner together and then ate cake at our place to celebrate my own, Loviise’s and Ly’s birthdays that all were in April.
A banana and oatmeal porridge with butter and honey
Ham and mushroom pizza
Rice with tuna, cabbage and eggs + some salad
Realist ginger-peppermint lemonade
Japanese snacks: Big Katsu, squid snacks and Yakiniku-san. None of them were particularly good.
I went shopping in a second-hand store with Loviise and got myself a new pair of trousers, a scarf and a blouse. In the evening, I had a raid night with the guild, which was great fun as always. Lately, I’ve hardly had any time to play at all due to my suddenly busy schedule.
A cherry jam semla and a cup of coffee
Fried up the leftover French fry and wiener pizza. The pizza was huge, I couldn’t finish it in the restaurant yesterday.
Corn crackers with avocado, beef ham and tomatoes. I also made a cup of instant wakame miso, but it tasted off, so I didn’t drink it.
Pasta with liver sauce and salad
Corn cereal with milk and a cup of coffee
French fry and wiener pizza @ Rohuaia Kohvik. This made my inner 5 year-old all giddy and it also tasted great 😀
I had a long day. I don’t know why I thought it would be a good idea to go to a workout at 7:30am, but I did xD My boyfriend was a sweetheart and sent me to the gym, even though he really didn’t have to get to work that early. The workout was alright even though I struggled to stay awake even while moving around xD
Then I came back home, had a quick breakfast… and woke up on the couch at 10:45am xD Oops, I almost missed the time when I was supposed to meet up with Kadi. I sprinted out of the door and just barely made it in time. Kadi drew me an awesome Deadpool picture that I will scan soon, so I can share its awesomeness. Anyway, we did a round in a couple of second-hand stores and after that I had to go to Rakvere with my boyfriend and his family. They had some business to take care there and once they were done, we had a lovely meal in a local café.
Leftover seafood pizza and ramen noodle and mushroom soup made with tom yum paste
Nakayoshi Neruneru DIY candy. It was fun mixing this thing together. The green grape candy was really sour. The pink fluff was strawberry flavoured. The toppings were popping candy and soda flavoured pellets. I can’t say I was crazy about the taste, but it sure was a fun experience xD
I made a video of the candy making process. I liked a lot how the candy goo puffed up into its fluffy form :p I put the music over the video to muffle out my camera noisily changing the focus point and I also need to figure out an angle for the future where my hands wouldn’t be in the way all of the time xD But maybe this is a bit interesting to watch anyway?
A persimmon and some kiwifruit
Basil pesto risotto
Huge cheese stuffed meatballs and some salad
I got really fed up in the grocery store, because most vegetables were prepackaged into plastic. Originally the risotto was supposed to be served with roasted zucchini, but since it was covered in plastic in one of the stores (I will not buy zucchini if I can’t nick a taste to make sure it isn’t bitter) and was half rotting in the other store I went to, I got angry and bought the meatballs instead… which were also in a plastic package, but at that point I didn’t really care anymore. Who the hell packages a zucchini anyway? Well, apparently a company called I ♥ Eco, which is simply ironic.
I made dinner and then we watched an episode of “Sweetness & Lightning,” which continues to be adorable, and “Yuri on Ice,” which is quite entertaining, with my boyfriend.
Pancakes with chocolate spread
Coffee and chocolate cake that my mom made
Mashed potatoes with duck meat, some salad and marinated pumpkin
Leftover breakfast: a couple of fried eggs, some mashed potatoes with duck meat and a pancake
We had dinner @ Da Vinci, because I felt too groggy to cook. I had a cappuccino with whipped cream and cocoa powder.
Pizza with mozzarella and seafood
Another one with ham and mushrooms
My idea was to eat at the restaurant not to get take away so we wouldn’t have to get disposable plastic containers. However, I ended up not managing to finish my entire pizza, so we had them pack it for us to go… so yeah, fail xD
This illness, I and my boyfriend got struck with, seems to be long winding. It has been way over a week now and we are still both struggling with the symptoms. Granted, it has gotten so much better, but I am still snotty and get a headache when I move more and my boyfriend still sometimes has a small fever.
Pear halva cake.
Tom yum flavoured instant noodles.
Vegetable gratin, toasted rye bread and some pumpkin juice.
Boyfriend took a nice photo of Loki.
Oatmeal porridge with different seeds and some honey.
Fried sausages and tom yum flavoured instant noodles.
Raspberry lemonade @ Mack Bar-B-Que
Fried chicken with guacamole
Pulled pork pizza. I only had about half a slice, because the pizza turned out to be extremely sweet tasting and it was disgusting.
I ate some fries instead. They were overseasoned and too salty 😦
We went to see “The Magnificent Seven” in the evening. I had no expectations for the movie, because it wasn’t a movie I had particularly wanted to see in the first place. I ended up enjoying the movie a lot. It had fantastic characters and a pretty straightforward storyline which was good. Honestly, I fell in love with ALL of the characters, even though most of them were pretty awful people. I bet the social justice warriors are giving this movie a lot of flak due to blatant racism in it etc, but in my eyes it was the most racially diverse movie with a strong female character I had seen for ages. I was also surprised later that the movie had managed to avoid so many clichés this type of movies usually have. The most notable missing clichés were flashbacks and a corny romance storyline. So if you want to watch something action packed and fun with great characters, I really recommend this western.
Also, Chris Pratt’s smug face for the win! 😀 I had a dream about him kissing me the following night xD Unfortunately the dream me is still faithful to my boyfriend, so I rejected him xD What the heck of a dream was that!?!?
