25. February

Rye bread with salted salmon, raspberry quark smoothie.

A fennel pastry, some orange, almonds and pistachios.

Fried pork with coleslaw salad, some tomato and garlic sprouts.

Coffee, fried veggies with chicken and pine nuts.

26. February

An apple and some peanut butter.

Some watermelon.

Chicken soup with sour cream.

Nettle smoothie.

27. February

Coffee, steamed green beans with mayo and a beetroot patty.

Miso soup with wakame and konnyaku noodles.

Some carrots.

A semla with cream cheese and lingonberry jam from Killuke Kooki.

Celery-arugula soup with sour cream and a slice of rye bread.

28. February

Coffee, celery-arugula soup with sour cream.

Some carrots, walnuts and cheese-seaweed snacks I shared with hubby.

Japanese style minced meat curry with sour cream and pearl barley.

1. March

Coffee, Japanese style minced meat curry with sour cream.

Greek yoghurt with puffed millet, chia seeds and coconut flakes.

Carrot soup with sour cream.

2. March

Had three pieces of this strawberry chewy candy. Very yummy!

Boiled chicken, some tomatoes, avocado and carrot soup with sour cream.

Hubby opened a pack of plum chewing candies. I had a piece. It was kind of boring tasting and not particularly chewy at all.

3. March

Some walnuts, pine nuts and a pineapple-spinach-cucumber smoothie.

Coffee, fried tofu with bok choy and egg.

28. January

Oatmeal porridge with puffed millet and chia seeds.

Minced meat soup. I forgot to take a photo of my portion, so this is what the soup looked like in the pot xD

Plain yoghurt with frozen black currants.

Turkey meatballs and garlic roasted broccoli.

29. January

Nettle rye bread with salted salmon and cold meds… oh so many cold meds this week…

An apple and some peanut butter.

Miso soup with mung bean sprouts and wakame.

More miso soup, some turkey meatballs and cucumber.

30. January

An apple and some peanut butter.

Sour cream and onion pringles flavoured instant noodles xD These were funny tasting. Not bad, but not good enough to buy again.

31. January

Creamy lemon quark and nettle rye bread with salted salmon.

Chickpea curry with quinoa and some coffee.

Matcha latte @ Gotsu

Kimchi stew with pork and a bit of rice. Best cure for illness ever.

Shared these kimchi mandu with hubby. They were delicious!

Some chickpea curry and nettle rye bread. I didn’t finish all of the curry.

2. February

An apple some and peanut butter.

Pocari Sweat and a couple of boiled eggs.

Hubby brought some chicken spring rolls and spicy shrimp soup for dinner.

21. January

Breakfast was smoothie with berries, banana, linseed and soy milk. I am making a conscious effort to eat breakfast now, as it’s what the doctor recommended.

Baked salmon and simple carrot salad.

An apple and some almonds for a snack.

Tofu-spinach curry with quinoa and garlic sprouts.

22. January

Coffee, scrambled eggs with turmeric, garlic sprouts and nettle rye bread with salted salmon.

Half a tuna-rice pastry.

Turnip-cauliflower soup.

Cottage cheese with raspberries.

23. January

Nettle rye bread with salted salmon and avocado.

Freeze dried raspberries and some pecans.

Broccoli soup.

Natural 12 crispi roll. This is a really nice snack treat.

Mashed cauliflower and green peas with baked white fish.

24. January

Buckwheat porridge and salted salmon.

Went to my favourite coffee shop for some great coffee and some manga time. @The Living Room Café

Some grapefruit.

Konnyaku noodle wok with mung bean sprouts, cauliflower and green beans.

25. January

Toasted nettle rye bread with salted salmon and a cup of coffee.

A couple of Kalev’s cherry flavoured jelly candies.

Some sunflower seeds.

Smoothie with banana, persimmon, soy milk and linseed.

Tomato-white bean soup with fresh basil and toasted pine nuts and sunflower seeds.

26. January

Mostly egg white omelette with spinach and some cucumber.

Warabi mochi and some coffee.

Beetroot-chickpea patties with mayo, salad with orange and mung bean sprouts.

27. January

Greek yoghurt with honey, puffed millet and sunflower seeds. Also had some coffee.

A couple of beetroot-chickpea patties with some cucumber, tomato and a slice of toasted nettle rye bread.

A couple of these canapés with elk meat and marinated cucumber.

A slice of this raw cake that mom made. It had different nuts, dried dates, raspberries and passion fruit in it. It was good albeit really heavy to eat xD

Skull bowl… 20. May 2018

In the morning I went to the Kalamaja Festival with hubby and Kadi. We got loads of delicious food:

Handmade pelmeni and a turnip pastry from a Finno-Ugric grandmother 😀 Shared these with hubby, he ate most of the pastry, because I am not a big fan of turnip.

A green smoothie with spinach from Ökut. So yummy!

Blueberry bagel with cream cheese. This was so delicious!

Churros! We ate most of them, before I remember to take a photo xD

Chicken paella. It was a bit cold and dry but tasted good.

Ice cream from Surf Café.

Later in the evening e went to play with clay again with Kadi and Kerttu. I wanted to make a mug but ended up making a bowl again as the sides turned out too thick for a mug. I will attempt a mug again next time xD

Boo!

Baked fish with garlic cream cheese and some salad with puffed millet and mushrooms. The puffed millet was kind of lame in the salad, but it was worth a shot I guess.

Changes… 19. January 2018

 Greek yoghurt with lingonberry-apple jam, puffed millet and some chocolate cookies. Also, had a cup of coffee.

 König Ludwig Weissbier. It was alright.

 Tonkotsu soy ramen @ Washoku Story.

 Pelmeni with sour cream.

This day was harsh. I went in for a job interview/to check out a soon to be opening café… and decided to accept their job offer. This also meant I had to hand in my 30-day notice at my current place of work. There was lots of crying and uhh… but I think I made the right decision.

DIY Japanese candy kit fun… 18. January 2018

 Greek yoghurt with apple-lingonberry jam, puffed millet, quinoa cereal and banana.

 A sourdough chicken sandwich from RØST.

 Coffee and cakes that Kadi brought. There was a Bounty cake, a raspberry-lemon meringue roll and a black currant zefir cake.

Our plan for the day was to make some Japanese DIY candy kits that had piled up on my shelf 😛

 The first one was Super Mario gummy candy maker.

 Gummies solidifying.

 The kit came with a background where you could set a scene before you ate the candy :p Sadly the gummies were not very tasty.

 Next up was slime jelly xD I was quite excited about this one, because sliiiiiiiime!

This is how we mixed it.

 The slime had a really cool texture and it was fun to mix and stretch xD Sadly again the flavour of it wasn’t to my taste.

 Then there was the digging chocolate.

 The idea behind this one was to dig out gummy candy treasure from the chocolate dirt :p The taste of these was fine I think, but nothing exciting.
