Keeping a routine is difficult… 4. June 2018

Chocolate brownie ice cream and a mug of coffee.

Instant porridge with chanterelles and some puffed wheat.

Pearl couscous with chicken-lemon sauce and some salad.

Snaaaaaks I shared with hubby. The spicy noodles were tasty, the strawberry cookie was not very good, the azuki-matcha balls were good, the pea senbei was delicious and the more regular senbei was really great too.

Potato-veggie crisps. We were in a snacky mood.

Recently my life seems to be a series of falling into a hole and trying to climb out again over and over again. But eh, at least I still have the will to climb, right? 😀
So yeah, this is me climbing out of a hole again and trying to catch up with this blog.

A fantastic time… 2. June 2018

Puffed wheat with milk and cup of coffee.

Sea salt potato chips.

Colourful peanuts in chocolate.

A chocolatino at Must Puudel.

I met up with Anna and we had a long lovely evening together 😀

A beer and bruchetta with green pea hummus and sprouts.

A café latte @ Nāganaga

Fries and another beer

ÖselBirch soured birch water

Late night in a closed bar, listening to Die Antwoord and songs in Hawaiian and watching Anna dance 😀 The bartender was a cool dude and didn’t kick us out even though the bar was closed xD
I got back home around 4am xD It has been a while since I’ve felt like staying out for this long. Also, late night Tallinn is beautiful.

A super busy day… 1. June 2018

Coffee, puffed wheat with milk.

A smoothie with raw buckwheat and berries. Also had a super delicious black currant-chocolate pastry. Didn’t eat the carrot muffin.

Carrot-cabbage cutlet, an egg and some salad.

Pasta carbonara.

Sea salt-vinegar potato chips. I only ate a few, because they were too vinegary and I didn’t like them.

Work and fun… 12. May 2018

 Coffee, puffed wheat with milk.

Chili sin carne with some salad and a boiled egg. Also had some water and cherry kombucha.

 Coconut-banana pastry.

Some after work work while I waited for Marit @ Gelato Ladies. They make a very delicious ice cream coffee.

I had a scoop of avocado ice cream and a scoop of kiwifruit-banana ice cream.

Cranberry juice with lime and mint @ Popular

Potato bites with sour cream. These were supposed to be potato croquettes, and I expected something handmade, not prefabricates :/ Marit wasn’t happy with her jalapeno poppers either, because they were cream cheese nuggets instead that were mildly jalapeno flavoured.

Coffee and an éclair from Pavlova.

I have to taste everything I sell… 9. May 2018

Cornflakes and puffed wheat with milk.

Some hazelnut milk and a bite of vegan pizza. Both were yummy.

Coconut-banana pastry with dark chocolate. Very tasty.

 Asparagus-carrot risotto with some salad.

 Apple-orange-strawberry juice.

 Cranberry-nut bread.

Cabbage borscht with meatballs and some grilled cranberry-nut bread.

Hard to resist the delicious pastries… 4. May 2018

Coffee, grilled rye bread sandwich with ham and cheese, puffed wheat with milk.

Fresko Raspberry-peppermints sorbet. This was super delicious and refreshing.

Some cherry kombucha and banana-kiwifruit smoothie.

Ate some of these marzipan-cardamom pastries.

Grilled cheese bun, chickpea curry with sour cream.

Seeing a doctor… 7. February 2017

Rice cereal (+ a handful of puffed honey wheat on top) with milk and a cup of coffee

An omelette with ham and a piece of baked fish

Wheat crackers with mashed avocado and radish; chicken soup with sour cream

Had some of this milk chocolate with raspberries

I finally had my long-awaited doctor’s appointment (I had to wait over 3 months for this) and I think it went well. I got an initial diagnosis and extra medication to combat some of the symptoms the other meds seem to be ignoring. I hope the new meds will work as good as the previous ones have been. I’m going to have a check-up in the beginning of April to see if the new meds are working the way they are supposed to and then in May I am seeing a therapy doctor for analysis and to set up a treatment plan. Quite long waiting times again, but I guess it’s better than no appointments at all. I need to be patient with all of this and not give up just because things are moving too slow.

I felt absolutely exhausted after the appointment, so I went back home and slept for a few hours. Well, before that I popped into the store and bought myself a new book (Tove Jansson’s biography) to raise my mood and the baked fish pictured above as a treat.
