A green smoothie and a ham sandwich

Wanted by Diplom-Is Billybob “Butternutter” Pecan- cream ice cream with caramel sauce and caramelized pecans. It was yummy.

We made Japanese style curry with fried sausage xD Like all Estonians, the curry was served with some sour cream :p We also drank some Kriek de Ranke.

I spent most of the day sleeping away my exhaustion. At some point my boyfriend came and dropped a small cat on top of me and straight into my heart. Apparently, about a month ago, some asshole had thrown several kittens all over the village. One kitten got dropped near our relative’s farm. Unfortunately, the dog scared the kitten, so it fled up a tree and then they couldn’t catch it for almost a month. The poor thing was so dirty, hungry and scared. Our relatives couldn’t keep her, so there was talk about a pet shelter, but these places only keep the cats a certain period and then put them to sleep. I felt really bad for the kitten, so I talked my boyfriend into taking her with us back to Tallinn and trying to find her a home there. He agreed, so now we have a small house guest. I named her Kohuke.

The best days are like this… 16. September 2017

 Brownie quark

 Rye bread and cheese sausage

Boiled potatoes, sausage sauce, some salad with marinated garlic

Apple-lingonberry crumble with vanilla ice cream

Sometimes the most mundane and boring days are the best ones. I had a day off work, so I caught up on some chores I had been neglecting while busy. I washed the dishes, boyfriend vacuumed the floors, we took out garbage to recycling. I did laundry and fixed the pocket of my parka. I wrote two blog posts and edited some photos for our café facebook page. Took a nap and had a shower afterwards. I drank hot cups of coffee and listened to podcasts. I cooked proper dinner. I was really content and happy.
