Some rambutans. These tasted fresh and interesting.

Niçoise salad.

Sourdough bread with garlic butter and tomato.

Brown sugar Marubouru soft cookie from Saga prefecture, melon cookie from Kumamoto, Kurobo Meimon from Fukuoka prefecture and Romance Sandwich sugar cookie from Nagasaki prefecture. All of these were really nice snacks. I especially enjoyed the melon cookie and the kurobo snack. I suppose the sugary cookie was the most boring one, even though it wasn’t bad at all either.

Banana-chocolate cake.

Mushroom soup and grilled sandwich with tuna and cheese.

Coffee, strawberry cookie and a Kinder Surprise chocolate egg.

Mead.

Potato-minced meat casserole and some salad.

30. September

I baked mayonnaise cookies. Turned out great! To my husband these were an old nostalgic taste, to me this was completely new.

Potato-minced meat casserole.

Grilled rye bread sandwiches with ham.

Keeping a routine is difficult… 4. June 2018

Chocolate brownie ice cream and a mug of coffee.

Instant porridge with chanterelles and some puffed wheat.

Pearl couscous with chicken-lemon sauce and some salad.

Snaaaaaks I shared with hubby. The spicy noodles were tasty, the strawberry cookie was not very good, the azuki-matcha balls were good, the pea senbei was delicious and the more regular senbei was really great too.

Potato-veggie crisps. We were in a snacky mood.

Recently my life seems to be a series of falling into a hole and trying to climb out again over and over again. But eh, at least I still have the will to climb, right? 😀
So yeah, this is me climbing out of a hole again and trying to catch up with this blog.

Recovery Sunday… 12. February 2017

 Buckwheat porridge with butter

Green pea and lemon crisps. These were yummy.

 Beef jerky

French fries, roast pork and salad

 Cookies

I spent most of the day in bed, still feeling off from the headache the day before. In the evening, I made dinner and Miss K came to stay over and brought cookies for dessert. All in all, it was a quiet day.
